Free tool for BSDL syntax verification

E-mail Print PDF

GOEPEL offers a free tool that allows users to verify BSDL files compliant to IEEE 1149.1, IEEE 1149.6 , and IEEE 1532 standards. As soon as the “Analog BSDL” for IEEE 1149.4 compliant devices is standardized, the BSDL SyntaxChecker will officially support that dialect as well. This software tool is called BSDL Syntax Checker and is available on the download page.

BSDL SyntaxChecker V4.0 is provided as an application with a graphical user interface for Microsoft Windows and as a Windows command line application. The tool checks the syntax and semantics of a BSDL file and returns a PASS/FAIL message. The GUI based version displays any syntax error messages in a message panel. The command line based version allows the verification of a single BSDL file as well as the verification of several BSDL files in a batch mode, while a log file records the BSDL files verified and the result (PASS/FAIL). An error report file lists BSDL syntax errors.
